Deliciously eating [Deliciously Ella Book]
After being diagnosed with a strange illness, Ella changed her whole diet and began living under a sugar free, gluten free and dairy free diet. She claims that this change made her regain strength, energy and ultimately take control of her illness.
According to Ella, her book and blog has the ultimate goal of showing people that you can have delicious healthy food, that because it’s healthy it doesn’t mean it’s gross and you can whip a meal in a matter of minutes…..so i gave it a go.
I grab a few of my favorite recipes and put them to the test, courgette noodles, buckwheat pasta, gluten free home chips with guacamole and quinoa stuffed roasted squash. All of which tasted delicious (even Le boyfriend was happy after freaking on the word quinoa haha)
Beside the recipes, which all look quite appetizing (specially that berry cheesecake and chocolate brownies…yes…I said brownies) what I enjoyed the most it her philosophy, she has a fun, lovely way of writing which makes you want to try out every single recipe.
This being said, I want to try to attempt a new recipe each day this week, and we’ll see how that goes.
The book has over 100 plant based, sugar, gluten and dairy free recipes and it been in NZ stores since yesterday. Thank you to the girls at Hachette for sending me a copy. As for me, I’m seriously considering having beetroot risotto tonight. Until next time.-
